Trans Young Adult Support Group (18-21)

We offer a weekly support group for trans, non-binary, and gender-expansive young adults (ages 18-21). This group is a collaborative space where members can share about their experience and build community with peers. Together we discuss topics related to gender and transition, engage in creative activities, and develop resiliency skills.

Group Description

This weekly group for young adults is a place where members gather in solidarity and have discussions about identity, gender, transition, and the sundry ups and downs of their lives. Our group helps participants:

  • Build community and friendships

  • Explore topics related to gender, identity, and young adulthood together

  • Build a sense of solidarity and belonging

  • Develop resilience in hard times

This group balances discussion with space to be playful and spontaneous, appreciate each other’s company, and have a good time. As the weeks unfold we celebrate wins, milestones, and birthdays. We support each other through discussion and sharing, but also through developing caring relationships and being in community with each other.
